BestOnlineTutorial is a technical publication covering Docker, Kubernetes, Redis and the rest of the Linux infrastructure stack — written by someone running this stuff in production, not generated to rank for keywords.

Why this site exists #

While reading an article on dev.to, links that pointed to this domain failed to resolve. The domain had been discontinued by the previous owner. Since link rot is a real problem on the internet, and even more so for technical blogs, the domain was re-registered and blog posts for the missing topics was newly added to them in an attempt to bring back something valuable for people new to the topics.

It’s maintained by proxima9, a Linux infrastructure and automation consultancy. We spend our working hours on exactly the kind of problems these articles cover: containerizing applications, setting up high availability services, debugging permission errors and race conditions that don’t show up until something’s actually in production. This site is where that experience gets written down.

Editorial approach #

Every article here is written to be correct and immediately useful — real commands, real failure modes, no padding to hit a word count. If something is genuinely subtle or has a real tradeoff, we say so, rather than presenting one approach as the only answer.

Disclaimer For research and editing, AI agents are used to discover logical errors, mistakes made while writing and discovery of additional information. Every article is still proof read and checked for correct function of code examples, adding real command output and error message examples, to provide real life examples, not hallucinated “might be correct” output.
